Talamonti Pecorino 'Trabochetto'

Talamonti was founded in 2001 by Rodrigo and Antonella DiTonno. The winery is made up of 30 hectares covering the hills of Abruzzo located near the village of Loreto Aprutino. This area was originally covered shells that water and rivers broke down over time which makes this a perfect area for white wines that differ from other Abruzzo producers.

Tasting Notes
A brilliant pale straw color. A wonderful bouquet of white pulp fruit. Explosive flavors of ripe pear,  apple, Ginestra flowers and jasmine accompanied by gentle and refreshing acidity.
Vineyard Notes
SOIL: Stony, calcareous, structured and drained. Altitude: 350 meters above sea level.
Production Notes
White wine made from 100%  Pecorino grape, a native grape variety from the Colline Pescaresi in Abruzzo. The wine has received more awards than any other wine from the region. Select vineyards located near the village of Loreto Aprutino in the Pecorino IGT Colline Pescaresi area.
